Do the hot summer days leave your wanting to reach for something cool and refreshing to drink? It is so important to stay hydrated, but drinking plain water can get pretty boring. Adding fruit will naturally enhance the flavor.
When shopping at a local store awhile back, I was introduced to adding strawberries and cucumbers to water. Although I have enjoyed cucumber water many times before, this was the first time that I'd ever had it with the addition of the strawberries. The flavor was amazing and so summery. (And it made me question why I had never thought of doing such a thing all on my own.)
This is an easy drink to serve at a summertime party or to simply have in the refrigerator for your own enjoyment. A few sips and you'll be dreaming that you're at some luxury spa being pampered for the day! And feeling like that will no doubt make you much more likely to reach for those recommended 8 glasses a day. Win win.

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY CUCUMBER INFUSED WATER
To make the fruit flavored water, simply add slices of cucumber and strawberries to water. I like to leave the peel on the cucumber, but you can slice it off if you'd prefer. There is no set amount of how much fruit to add or how much water you need to make at one time. You can even make it by the glass if you'd like.
Chill it in the refrigerator for at least an hour and then pour yourself a glass. The flavor will get more intense the longer the fruit sits in the water.

I just know that you will love the combination of crisp cucumbers and the sweet red strawberries as much as I do. I'd love to hear what you think. Enjoy!
