Another Fall Display

October 2, 2013

FALL   |   Published October 2, 2013

Thank you so much for all the amazing comments you've been sending my way about the mantel display I put together.  It means so much to know that the thought I put into creating the display was worth it.  Adjectives like "breathtaking" have really thrilled me!

I've put together another display in my dining room that is kind of a mix of seasons.....a little bit of fall and a little bit of Thanksgiving.  I'm not a huge fan of decorating for Halloween, so I tend to move right on to the next season.

The entire display started with this very rustic looking garland from Hobby Lobby.   It has brown berries, acorns, pine cones, and other natural things.  I laid it on top of some fall colored leaves to bring a little pop of color.

I added in three great brown mercury glass-looking candle holders.  They add some nice height to the center of the display and really sparkle with a candle inside.

The "fall side" of my display is on the left with some pumpkins and a harvest angel.

While on the right, I've moved into the Thanksgiving season with a brown turkey and metal turkey plate.  I also filled an old-looking metal urn with some fall flowers.

Tucked into different spots of the display I added some pumpkins (like the ones from my tablescape) and some mercury glass acorns.

I love how this whole display stretches the length of the countertop.....It is a narrow area and can sometimes be hard to decorate but I'm pleased with how it turned out!

Now that I've shared a few of my spaces with you, how did you decorate your home this year for the season?
