Hello friends and welcome to my Christmas home! I am honored to be partnering with Country Living and Ashley at Cherished Bliss today to share my holiday decorating along with some of my best blogging friends. This is going to be an amazing week filled with some truly talented ladies.
Many of you may be visiting from Michelle's blog, Dandelion Patina. (Isn't her home so inspiring?!?! There is never a time that I leave her blog without something I want to try doing myself!) If this is one of your first visits here, welcome! I'd love to have you join my mailing list or follow along on social media during this holiday season so that you don't miss anything!
I'm going to keep the writing to a minimum today and just let you enjoy the pictures. I took so many photos for this post that I'm sure you'll be seeing even more over the coming weeks in posts and in social media. I've also got some DIY projects to share that are tucked into these images.
My goal for this season was to add just enough touches to make my space feel ready for Christmas without being stressed out by over decorating. My favorite things to decorate with are greenery and other natural (or faux) items.
Let's start at the entryway, shall we?
I created this "sign" made out of four boards to hang on the wall. This easy project is something else that you'll be learning more about later in December.
A simple white chair fills in the corner of the room and has been dressed up with a Christmas pillow I painted last year.
The tree has been dressed simply with burlap upholstery webbing and red beaded garland, red mercury glass ornaments (from Hobby Lobby), silver glass glitter pinecones and lots of lights.
The fireplace has been decorated with a few of my favorite things....
Last year's Christmas tour can be seen here.
