My Dining Room Decorated for Fall

September 18, 2014

FALL   |   Published September 18, 2014

Last week I shared some pictures of my living room decorated for fall.  My goal was to create a cozy space where you could curl up by the fire.  The comments I've received seem to confirm that I accomplished what I set out to do.  Today, I thought I'd share some pictures from my dining room.

Because of the renovations going on the kitchen (that now opens up into the dining room), it is difficult to do a whole lot of decorating in this room.  But every room needs a little touch of fall, so here it is...

One place that is great to create a display is on top of the piano.  Some of the things I used here were the favorites in my displays last year.

Like this lantern.....

And this wreath I've displayed in an old frame......

But I also threw in some different touches like these orange pumpkins.....

And some beautiful resin leaves I bought at Hobby Lobby......

On the other side of the door, I did the simplest display......

Just some berries and branches in an urn along with some pumpkins and pine cones.

And I added some different leaves, squash, and pumpkins hanging from the top of the cupboard.

So that is my dining room at the moment with a touch of fall.  How is your decorating going?
