Is it just me, or has the month of June went by in a flash?!?! Between trying to consistently stay on top of things here and throughout social media, working at cleaning out my grandma's house, and cleaning and organizing at my own house there has not been many spare moments. But I honestly feel better staying busy and seeing things crossed off of my list of things to do. At the end of the day, I feel more rested knowing that I accomplished something than if I would have spent the day with my feet up.
July looks to be shaping up to be a busy month, too.
In addition to the things that filled my June, my mom and I are going to help my aunt repaint her bedroom and bedroom furniture.
I'm reading the trendy Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up (affiliate link) so there is probably going to be some time devoted to purging and decluttering this month. Have you read the book yet? I find myself nodding my head up and down in agreement through most everything in there!
I've got a couple posts coming up for Craftberry Bush and another blog, plus some upcoming collaborations with some of my blogging friends.
And I'm excited to join in the Fusion Blogger Program and try out their amazing fusion mineral paint on my large stock of furniture waiting to be made beautiful. If you haven't heard about this company and you enjoy painting, be sure to check them out! It is made by the same company that produces Miss Mustard Seed's brand of milk paint.
I had big plans for having another DIY post for today, but since I didn't have to go to work today my desire to start my holiday weekend early won out. That post will have to wait until Monday. Back in the fall I did a post recapping the previous month's projects. It seemed to be really popular and then I never did one again. That's the way I work....something goes well and I never do it again!
Anyways, here is my second try of starting a monthly feature. There were a lot of projects and ideas that I really enjoyed sharing. And all the sweet comments that I've been receiving here and on Instagram and Facebook have really been encouraging. I'm not always the best at immediately replying, but please know that there is nothing I like better than hearing from you!
So, here is a little recap of the month in June just in case you missed anything. Which post was your favorite from the month?
I hope you have a fabulous Fourth of July, or for my non-American friends, have a great weekend! See you back here on Monday!
