February 26, 2015

Welcome to another week of Your Turn to Shine.  In case you've never been here before, this party is hosted by five different bloggers. That means what you link up here will be seen (and possibly featured) on FIVE different blogs at one time!  So much exposure for what you've created!  The five of us also are sharing our features on our party's Pinterest board if you'd like to follow along.

Whether you have something to share today or you just want to get some inspiration, I appreciate you stopping by.  Take a moment to see what has been featured and spread some love to some of the bloggers linking up their posts this week!

hostess feature

There was a lot of ideas at last week's party about entryways so I thought I'd stick to that theme for this week's features.  They are totally putting me in the mood for a little redecorating!  Which one is your favorite?

This post from Personally Andrea is actually about painting lettering onto a rustic sign (and isn't that sign fabulous?!?!).  But I was in love with her entire entry display so it had to be included.  Doesn't she have fantastic style?

I'm also crushing on this post on entry decorating from Meadow Lake Road.  Both of them are my style and I feel like I'd be happy moving right in!  :)

This dresser turned into an Entryway Table  from Dwelling in Happiness is absolutely amazing.  As beautiful as it is, it didn't always look this great.  I can sure relate to how she must have felt removing the many layers of paint to expose that wood top!

Isn't this eclectic entryway from Little Brags perfectly styled?  I'm loving her idea for writing hello down the wall.  And I really need that large lantern for my own home!!!

While this Slip Covered Roll Arm Bench from The Curator's Collection isn't technically a post on entryways, wouldn't it look great in one?  This is one beautifully upholstered piece of furniture!

And this Reupholstered Piano Bench from Refresh Living is also another fantastic piece to be included in an entryway.  The fabric choice is really great on this one!

This post on creating a DIY Entryway Plank Wall from Little House of Four is really making me want one for my own home.  (I think I've watched a few too many episodes of Fixer Upper with Joanna Gaines adding ship lap walls to homes and want the look for myself.)  The entire entryway is beautifully decorated and I need that mirror to go with my lantern. :)

And before posting her own plank wall, Katie posted a roundup of 6 Beautiful Plank Wall Entryways.  You'll be wanting your own by the time you're done looking at these inspiring pictures.  (And it doesn't hurt that she included one of Joanna Gaines' walls in the group!)

Wasn't that some great inspiration for your own home projects?!?!
