September in Review

September has been an active month for me both on the blog and off.  All of your visits, comments, and emails this past month have been so appreciated.  I really feel like this little blog of mine is starting to grow!

I thought I'd catch you up today on anything you might have missed this past month.  AND to remind you to come back tomorrow bright and early for the first "Your Turn to Shine" link up party!  I'm so excited to see what all of you have to share!

So here is a look back through September....

There was of course a large focus on the fall season with decorating my kitchen, dining room, and living room.  I also shared some inspiring (and easy!) tips on decorating with pumpkins around your home.

In addition to fall decorating, there was  fall crafting with a fall banner and a tutorial on creating a realistic looking stems on your faux pumpkins.  I never imagined how popular this post would be with everyone!  I officially only have two little pumpkins left after all the pumpkins that I painted!

Oddly enough, I spent very little time in the kitchen!  I made a batch of Cranberry Pumpkin Cookies to share, and that was it!  Did you miss seeing some yummy recipes?

With all the fall projects, I only shared one furniture transformation.....a really beat up radio stand that I painted and turned into a beautiful table at the bottom of my basement steps.  It excites me to look at the before and after of this incredible find.

And finally, there were some moments of randomness where I shared my new obsession with dish soap, my family Bible from 1857, some perfect baskets for my kitchen, and the three things I think you need to take great pictures.  I also shared my experiment in overwintering my geraniums, which as of right now, does not seem to be going well.  Are they supposed to look dead?  I'm guessing they aren't!

And that wraps up the month of September.  What posts were you most excited about?  Anything you'd like to see more or less of?  I have quite a few projects and recipes to share with you throughout October that I hope you'll love.

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday...and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the party! :)
