The Perfect Baskets and Some Exciting News

Storing potatoes and onions in baskets from Lowes | www.andersonandgrant.com

Last night while shopping at Lowes, I found the perfect baskets to hold onions and potatoes in my kitchen.  The island that we've been putting together has a small space where a cabinet wouldn't fit.  So this became a logical place to decoratively store onions and potatoes.

It has been so hard to find baskets that were tall and skinny to use in the space, though.  I never gave it a thought to look at Lowes, but there they were!  And they could not fit more perfectly in the space than they do.

The baskets are made by allen + roth and come in different sizes and dimensions.  They cost about $13 each.

I'm really pleased that I was able to find not just baskets that would fit into the opening, but ones that I really like as well.  They have a great texture and I can't wait to see them in the finished kitchen!

And now on to my exciting news...

Beginning next Thursday, anderson + grant is joining with three other bloggers to host a link party called Your Time to Shine!  I had been thinking about starting one for a few months but held off because I really wanted to find another blogger to host with me.  Then Amy from Canary Street Crafts contacted me about joining in with her, Kendra from Joy in Our Home and Nicole from Meet the B's and I said yes.

The party will start on Thursdays at 6AM EST and you are welcome to link up any of your projects, recipes, decorating tips....whatever you've created.  I'm so excited to offer you a chance to share what you've made with me!
